Requirements

  • Business School associate degree or relevant studies with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Prior experience using an ERP/MRP system preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel/Word).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Government Contracts and DD250/WAWF procedures is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of Export Classification practices is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer quote requests and follow internal processes to ensure proper delivery of quotations and record keeping.
  • Review of new purchases orders against quoted terms.
  • Accurately enter orders into MRP system for production and finance planning.
  • Shepard new orders through internal contract review process.
  • Work with planning group to keep order delivery status updated in the system.
  • Act as a customer support liaison for delivery status updates, processing RMA’s, and tracking open issues.
  • Maintain a customer log to track activity at customers and status of deliverables.
  • Schedules post award meetings and follow-up on assigned action items.
  • Foster customer relationships.
  • Obtain customer forecast information.
  • Use customer portals and websites as needed to support execution of purchases orders.
  • Maintain and organize records for each contract, including order revisions/modifications, change orders, etc.
  • Prepare internal shipping documents and support customer shipments as needed (obtaining ASN’s, scheduling source inspection or freight, etc.)
  • Resolve AR/AP issues as needed.
