About The Position

Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care is hiring a full-time Account Manager – Landscape Sales to join our growing team in Northern Virginia. This is a client-facing sales and account management role focused on managing relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth. You’ll work directly with an established client base, meeting homeowners at their properties, walking the landscape, and recommending improvements that help them get more enjoyment out of their yard. This role combines: Account management Sales and closing Landscape knowledge and property improvement guidance Compensation, Benefits & Growth $90,000–$120,000+ total compensation, including: Base compensation Commission on projects and upgrades Performance-based incentives  At Brandon Rushing: Effort = opportunity   Results = reward

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, outside sales, or consultative sales
  • Landscape industry experience required (maintenance, installation, or related field)
  • Strong understanding of plants, turf, and growing conditions in Northern Virginia
  • Ability to walk properties and make practical, value-driven recommendations
  • Comfortable closing sales and guiding clients to decisions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Experience using CRM software preferred
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Meet with existing clients at their properties
  • Build strong, long-term relationships
  • Walk properties and identify improvement opportunities
  • Recommend projects such as planting, drainage, sod, river rock, and enhancements
  • Create simple designs and prepare clear, professional quotes
  • Lead clients with confidence through decisions
  • Close sales and move opportunities forward
  • Upgrade clients into better-aligned programs
  • Rework agreements to improve long-term satisfaction and retention
  • Ask for referrals and generate new opportunities
  • Prospect and develop new business
  • Track and manage opportunities within a CRM system
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure strong execution
