About The Position

The Account Manager at Viral Nation is a key player in the daily execution of client programs. This role involves collaborating with Client Services teams and the Center of Excellence (COE) to implement social-first marketing strategies designed to achieve client objectives. Account Managers are responsible for upholding the Viral Nation process, proactively managing campaign execution, and demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills. They must be adaptable, capable of handling various assignments, and meeting tight deadlines. The Account Manager oversees successful project delivery, coordinating with junior staff from the initial project phase through to successful campaign execution and delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in advertising, influencer marketing, social media, or related services roles
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a background in marketing, communications, or a related discipline strongly preferred
  • Experience working within inter-agency teams (IATs) and cross-functional environments
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms and tools, paired with a strong understanding of influencer marketing best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tactical workstreams, delegate effectively, and review junior team members’ work with accuracy and accountability
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing up to ensure alignment and progress

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day creator and client communication across assigned workstreams, driving tactical execution and ensuring all deliverables, reporting, and touchpoints are proactive, accurate, and on time
  • Support and execute end-to-end influencer marketing campaigns, primarily focused on Micro and Mid-Tier talent, including influencer activation, content/social execution, and community management from kickoff through wrap
  • Support production and on-site or remote shoots as needed, including coordination with creators, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain and manage data entry & collection for assigned creators, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and on-time submission
  • Support the development of wrap reports, performance summaries, and post-campaign insights
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, or dependencies to the manager with recommended solutions
  • Support growth and upsell initiatives, including drafting pitch materials, decks, and value-add messaging
  • Prepare client-facing materials such as meeting agendas and recaps, weekly status reports, and performance insights
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual planning, renewals, and year-in-review documentation
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective execution
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve execution efficiency, reporting accuracy, creator communication, and workflow management
