About The Position

A successful Account Manager drives client growth & satisfaction with Weedmaps. The Account Manager will be measured on their success in 1) driving revenue through identifying opportunities & optimizations 2) heading off & minimizing churn, and 3) driving billing collection efforts. The right person will have a strong background in consultative selling skills, project management, and analytical capabilities to be able to provide insights to their clients on how to maximize their performance on the platform.

Requirements

  • BS / BA Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in digital sales or account management; client/customer facing role.
  • Proven track record of hitting goals and revenue targets.
  • Data-oriented, analytical sales approach.
  • Customer-centric and an eager relationship builder.
  • Confidence in presenting to clients (onsite or on phone) to influence credibly and effectively.
  • Comfort with operating at an accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Experience in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business where revenue & retention goals are met and exceeded.
  • Provide insights & recommendations to clients on how to grow their business with Weedmaps marketing solutions based on client & market data.
  • Collaborate with assigned Account Executive(s) to drive more value for shared clients & enter opportunities in CRM for management visibility.
  • Increase client proficiency & usage of the Weedmaps platform through training.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, sales presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain client data hygiene by updating & maintaining the CRM on calls, meetings, contact info, current license, and billing payments.
  • Proactively communicate billing updates to drive collection efforts as necessary.
  • Relay feedback from clients to improve products and processes to increase client success.
