We're growing and seeking a driven HVAC Account Manager to drive sales and build lasting relationships in the vibrant Bay Area market. What You'll Do: Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of HVAC customers through outside sales, on-site visits, and needs assessments Deliver tailored HVAC solutions by leveraging your deep product knowledge and conducting system evaluations Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and exceed sales targets Stay informed on branch performance, strategic plans, and how they align with our employee-owned culture and values Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, technical support, and customer satisfaction What We're Looking For: Proven experience in HVAC wholesale/distribution sales or related outside sales (contractor-facing preferred) Strong understanding of HVAC products, systems, and industry trends Self-motivated, highly organized, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and leadership potential Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for territory travel Why Join PACE Supply? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college course work preferred.
  • HVAC industry experience and HVAC product knowledge.
  • 3 years’ experience in Sales in HVAC industry.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customers' needs and requirements by conducting on-site visits, assessing HVAC systems, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations to customers, showcasing the features and benefits of HVAC products and services.
  • Explain technical specifications, energy efficiency, cost savings, and any other relevant information to persuade customers to choose your offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Provide exceptional customer service, address any concerns or issues promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly follow up with customers to ensure their ongoing needs are met.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations for HVAC products and services.
  • Work closely with internal teams to determine pricing strategies, discounts, and negotiate contracts or agreements. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of quotes to customers.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals in alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, strategies, and tactics to maximize sales growth and profitability.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and generating leads for HVAC products and services. This involves conducting market research, attending trade shows, networking, and building relationships with potential customers.
