About The Position

The Account Manager's main responsibility is to manage daily client service needs for a designated book of business, which may be overseen by a Producer or Account Executive responsible for service, placement, and business development. This role involves extensive use of system tools and frequent client communication via email or phone. The Account Manager must strictly adhere to corporate procedures, including maintaining data integrity within the system of record. As a key part of the client team, the Account Manager also provides guidance to any third-party vendors managing aspects of the account. Your Impact: Renewals & Placement: Support renewal strategy with Prod/AE, including market selection, claims review, exposure gathering, submissions, proposals, and binding. Documentation & Data: Prepare exposure data, loss exhibits, submissions/proposals, and obtain loss runs or policy documents from carriers. Daily Client Service: Act as primary contact for routine client requests; manage policy changes, certificates, invoices, and endorsements with partners/vendors. Systems & Compliance: Maintain accurate system records, process audits/reports, handle basic contract reviews, support claims reporting, and mitigate E&O risk. Client Accounting: Set up policies for billing, request invoices, address aged A/R, process return of funds, and respond to accounting inquiries. Carrier Relationships: Align with carriers/wholesalers, support “Fewer & Stronger” initiative, and leverage buying power for best terms. Corporate & Growth: Participate in new business and retention efforts, engage in corporate initiatives, compliance actions, and career development assignments.

Requirements

  • 2+ Years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment.
  • Knowledge of Property & Casualty business.
  • Ability to follow process and procedures guidance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to display tact and poise under pressure when working through issues.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in teams.
  • Hold Insurance licenses as required by the Company.
