Requirements

  • 5+ years direct sales experience with proven track record/capabilities.
  • Experience in a business-to-business market.
  • Good clinical/technical understanding and affinity with medical technology.
  • Displays deep knowledge of Biomedical product portfolio and products' use in end-market and products' differentiation versus competition.
  • Entrepreneurial sales professional who proactively develops business with her/his customers, actively prospects.
  • In depth understanding of sales process, contracting, licensing and other tools and experience in negotiating complex sales agreements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Customer leader who thoroughly understands customers' needs, establishes privileged relationships and actively influences their innovation and purchasing decisions.
  • Must be able to work with a high degree of independence within corporate sales & marketing procedures and guidelines.
  • Willingness to travel > 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and realize the sales strategy and plan for the designated customer account(s) in alignment with functional guidelines and business (segment) strategy and strategic marketing plan.
  • Secure new business deals that maximize the short and long term revenue and profitability of Biomedical.
  • Directly responsible for managing customer relationships with assigned and prospective customers.
  • Actively realize sales with assigned and prospective customer accounts in line with agreed budgets and operational pricing boundaries.
  • Develop a list of business prospects to identify and deliver long term growth expectations to achieve expected revenue contribution.
