About The Position

Account Inventory Manager Position Overview The Account Inventory Manager is responsible for managing inventory levels, reconciling stock records, and coordinating with account managers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to ensure optimal inventory accuracy and availability. This role bridges the gap between finance, operations, and customer accounts to maintain efficient supply chain performance and accurate reporting. This position will also participate in generating new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and participate in face-to-face interactions with customers to deliver tailored solutions that will drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, accounting, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and financial reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly within assigned territory.

  • Experience managing inventory for multiple client accounts.
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting and supply chain optimization.
  • Familiarity with lean inventory and cost-reduction strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage inventory across multiple accounts or business units.
  • Making introductions to new customers, dropping off literature, providing samples, and being available for new business generations on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for developing a network of clients and expanding to new customers in their geographical area of focus
  • Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock to minimize shortages or overstock situations.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliations between systems.
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Analyze trends in sales, usage, and demand to forecast inventory needs.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory counts.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits, compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with account managers to ensure customer inventory requirements are met.
