And under this roof, we protect what matters most. Job Summary GAF is seeking a high energy sales professional with a track record of building successful relationships and closing new business. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales goals which result from inbound lead generation and an existing customer database. You will act as a liaison between GAF and our clients, educating and skillfully guiding customers through the buying experience while ensuring the highest level of quality, customer care, and integrity. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience Required
  • This position is based in our Parsippany, NJ corporate headquarters which currently operates on a hybrid in-office schedule. Though employees are welcome to work in our office on Friday, this position must be performed in-office on Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely from the employee's home office on Friday.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience in the building material industry is preferred
  • 2+ years of Account Management experience are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual retention and new business development sales goals
  • Daily planning to maximize sales activities including phone, email, and social media
  • Provide timely and accurate response and follow-up with all customer inquiries
  • Develop and execute account plans - regularly review progress towards goals with customers
  • Collaborate on lead generation and sales with Sales and Marketing, as needed
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations as appropriate
  • Effectively utilize CRM system (Salesforce) to track and customer related activity, lead dashboards and reports, call lists and more
  • Serve as product expert by providing up-to-date product information
