About The Position

Novatize is a specialized eCommerce agency helping B2B and B2C brands drive measurable growth through strategy, experience design and technology execution. As a certified Shopify Plus partner, we support manufacturers, distributors and retailers in modernizing their digital commerce operations. Novatize is expanding into the US and seeking a Sales Account Executive to lead this growth. ROLE OVERVIEW As Sales Account Executive – US Market, you will be a strategic growth driver for Novatize in the United States. You will own the full sales cycle for B2B eCommerce replatforming and migration projects on Shopify Plus, from initial market outreach through to signed services agreements. This is primarily a new-logo hunter role focused on net-new clients and strategic expansion within accounts you originate. Beyond revenue generation, you will play a central role in validating and refining Novatize’s go-to-market strategy in the US. You will help sharpen our industry focus, build a repeatable pipeline in our priority verticals and act as a senior ambassador for Novatize.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B tech or digital services sales with quota-carrying responsibility.
  • Track record closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
  • Experience selling to manufacturing, distribution or adjacent B2B sectors.
  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus or other commerce platforms.
  • Strong consultative selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory (estimated 25%) for on-site meetings, workshops and events.
  • Based in the US (East Coast or Central preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within or alongside digital agencies specializing in eCommerce, UX, development or performance marketing.
  • Background selling into manufacturing, industrial distribution, or adjacent B2B sectors.
  • Previous involvement with industry associations, trade groups or thought-leadership communities in commerce or distribution.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior sales resources.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a territory plan aligned with US growth objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize B2B manufacturers and distributors ready to modernize their commerce stack.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution alignment, proposals, negotiation and closing.
  • Develop multi‑threaded relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Conduct pre-sales discovery and diagnostic conversations that explore client goals, operational constraints, technology landscape and success metrics.
  • Co-create solution roadmaps with Novatize strategy, solution engineering and delivery teams, framing clear phases of work and business outcomes.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, scopes of work, commercial models and implementation timelines in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Negotiate commercial terms in partnership with the Novatize finance team, manage stakeholder expectations and remove friction throughout the decision and procurement process.
  • Transition new clients smoothly into delivery by aligning expectations, documenting critical context and remaining actively involved in early project stages.
  • Act as a visible evangelist for B2B unified commerce, Shopify Plus and Novatize’s approach within the US industrial and distribution ecosystems.
  • Design and facilitate C-level and VP-level workshops to help prospects evaluate replatforming options, de-risk change and define a business case.
  • Collaborate with marketing on account-based campaigns, event strategy, content themes and vertical-specific messaging for targeted industries.
  • Participate in and speak at key industry conferences, regional events and association forums to build visibility and generate demand.
  • Work closely with Novatize’s leadership, strategy, solutions engineering and delivery teams to align sales opportunities with capacity, capabilities and long-term account plans.
  • Represent the “voice of the customer” internally, influencing the prioritization of service offerings, accelerators and partnerships relevant to US industrial markets.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, playbooks and reporting.
