About The Position

As the Wholesale Account Executive, you will be responsible for strategically driving growth in our wholesale channel by managing and expanding existing accounts and onboarding new ones. Working in tandem with the Director of Wholesale, you will serve as the lead on your account portfolio. In this role, you will be developing sales strategies, identifying risks and opportunities, and executing plans to achieve revenue goals. This is a unique opportunity to shape processes and make a meaningful impact in a growing area of the business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in wholesale sales or account management, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and managing client relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate sales data, sell-through reports, and forecasts into actionable strategy
  • Solid understanding of retail math and sales analysis
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative in identifying opportunities and improving processes
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify risks across a portfolio and present clear plans to address them
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Knowledge of wholesale industry trends, competitors, and best practices
  • Can lift up 20 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with wholesale accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and driving overall business growth.
  • Achieve sales, margin, and inventory goals by executing comprehensive, account-specific strategies
  • Lead all market appointments and showroom meetings, representing Parachute at relevant trade shows
  • Lead the sales order process to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries ; oversee EDI setup and compliance, daily shipping activity, and resolve issues related to deliveries, pricing, and timing
  • Forecast at the account and product level, including monthly shipping targets; partner with internal planning teams to support open-to-buy and ensure inbound aligns with account demand; proactively flag risks and opportunities to senior leadership
  • Analyze weekly and monthly sell-through and inventory data to identify opportunities; recommend reorders, style additions or removals, and markdown strategies to maximize productivity
  • Communicate on a regular basis with wholesale partners on business challenges & opportunities, upcoming milestones, and status on new initiatives.Monitor the competitive landscape and share market insights, competitor pricing, and white-space opportunities that inform assortment and business decisions
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with merchandising, design, planning, marketing, and fulfillment teams
  • Create and document new processes to make the wholesale team more efficient
  • Be physically present in the Culver City office to partner closely with cross-functional teams on real-time Business needs—reviewing products, managing samples, troubleshooting order or inventory issues, and enabling faster, higher-quality decision-making across the business
