About The Position

Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits. More than half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future. Too often, it’s because they are employed by a company that doesn’t offer a retirement plan. This role will be instrumental in architecting and scaling solutions that bring financial security to employees at small and medium-sized businesses nationwide.

Requirements

• You have at least 2 years of work experience in a sales role, preferably at a startup
• You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding your quota
• You love closing deals and helping businesses by delivering a product that has concrete value
• You're solutions oriented- you recognize objections and help your customers see value in our product regardless of their knowledge of our industry
• Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills — people trust you and get the sense that you are advocating for something in which you believe
• You have experience working with high-velocity sales cycles or selling to small businesses
• You're resilient—you bounce back from setbacks quickly, are resourceful, and find creative ways to get things done
• You're comfortable with a wide range of sales tools, including Salesforce or other CRMs
• You have a passion for solving big problems and having an immediate and positive impact
• Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable
• The ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations
• Must be located in Mountain or Pacific time zone

Responsibilities

• Work full cycle deals from demo complete to close.
• Research and target companies using prospecting tools.
• Build and manage a pipeline.
• Learn and demonstrate our platform to new prospective customers.
• Negotiate contracts
• Record and document all sales activities in Salesforce.com.
• Successfully utilize all sales tech tools.
