About The Position

The Account Executive (AE) role will assist in providing strategic counsel and communications expertise to /prompt’s clients. Our job is to create relevance for our clients. We work across practices to create and elevate the best strategies for every client. Through analytics, communications, creativity and digital media, our collaborative and talented team unites to create award-winning work and opportunities at every turn. This AE role requires the ability to serve as a client support on projects and project management, with excellent writing skills and experience in communications. This AE will work with high client engagement and autonomy, supporting a full team across two major growth accounts at the agency—each with national reach and meaningful public health impact. Account 1 — National Consumer Health Education Campaign This AE will support a national consumer health education campaign executed in partnership with a major sports network. The campaign activates across 10 local markets throughout the year, with a high focus on earned media results. The AE will play a central role in driving media strategy and execution at both national and local levels, coordinating market activations, and managing communications with the sports network and associated partners and stakeholders. Account 2 — Pediatric Rare Disease Consumer Health Disparity Campaign This AE will also support a pediatric rare disease consumer health disparity campaign focused on improving outcomes for underserved and underdiagnosed pediatric populations. This mission-driven account requires culturally sensitive communications, partnership engagement with patient advocacy organizations and healthcare stakeholders, and media strategy designed to close health disparity gaps in rare disease awareness and access to care.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience within a marketing and communications role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong digital and social media acumen
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to self-start
  • Cultural curiosity, trend savvy, creative and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of client programming across all facets, including events, influencer activations, media outreach and social content activations.
  • Monitor various sources for news and relevant information and analyze the data for relevant trend, client, and industry insights.
  • Create engaging materials (fact sheets, press releases, reports, pitches, Q&As) that accurately communicate client’s programs, goals, priorities, etc.
  • Maintain ongoing pitch calendars.
  • Pitch national and regional print, online, broadcast and trade media outlets.
  • Coordinate press opportunities and handle all press inquiries.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with clients, colleagues, media, and agency partners.
  • Actively participate in - and contribute to - team meetings and brainstorms.
  • Engage in cross-functional programming across client teams including influencer, digital and analytics
  • Ability to manage, teach, and guide junior team members in the entry level role
  • Set priorities and organize tasks to meet internal and external deadlines and assume a leadership role for assigned work.
  • Support national consumer health education campaign activation across 10 local markets, coordinating logistics, stakeholder outreach, and localized communications with a high emphasis on earned media results.
  • Drive earned media strategy and execution for the sports network health campaign partnership, developing and pitching compelling story angles to national, regional, and local media contacts.
  • Support the pediatric rare disease consumer health disparity campaign, developing culturally sensitive communications targeting diverse patient communities, caregivers, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Partner with patient advocacy organizations, community health stakeholders, and healthcare providers to amplify rare disease awareness and advance health equity goals.
