About The Position

At VersaBadge, we’re transforming healthcare operations with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS). Since 2016, we’ve been deeply committed to serving rural healthcare, making location-aware technology more accessible to healthcare facilities that have traditionally been underserved due to cost and complexity. Today, we support over 250 hospitals and clinics across the U.S., helping them improve financial health, compliance, caregiver safety, and workforce efficiency. As we continue to grow, we’re actively expanding into the behavioral healthcare market, bringing our innovative technology to a wider range of healthcare settings. This is a pivotal growth area for us, and we’re looking for individuals with experience in the behavioral healthcare industry to help guide and accelerate our success in this important sector. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving pipeline and sales initiatives for assigned territories within the behavioral healthcare market. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will proactively seek new leads, position company offerings in creative ways, and maintain a focus on meeting aggressive sales goals. Additionally, you will represent VersaBadge at conferences, establish and nurture relationships with clients and channel partners, and cultivate referrals to drive business growth. This non-traditional role demands a multi-faceted approach, where you'll be instrumental in driving sales and marketing initiatives in the behavioral healthcare industry.

Requirements

  • Proven success in sales, marketing, or client-facing roles, or relevant clinical experience in behavioral health, with interest in transitioning into a sales role.
  • Strong understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) sales processes, lead generation strategies, and sales funnel management.
  • Experience contributing to content creation such as sales decks, email templates, case studies, patient or client education materials, or marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and translate complex clinical or operational concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize competing demands.
  • Comfort with CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and G Suite tools, or a demonstrated ability to quickly adopt new technology platforms.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to attend conferences, site visits, and client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Conduct independent research and leverage industry insights to target high-potential prospects, with a primary focus on expanding non-radio revenue.
  • Build and Expand Client Relationships: Proactively establish connections with new prospects and foster relationships with existing clients.
  • Lead Pipeline Development: Be a driving force behind the company's pipeline growth by achieving quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Drive targeted marketing initiatives to support demand generation and brand awareness in the behavioral healthcare market.
  • Strategic Client Advocacy: Act as the go-to client advocate, addressing client needs promptly and effectively to enhance satisfaction and drive loyalty.
  • Collaborate for Seamless Execution: Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of client-centric initiatives aimed at driving engagement, awareness, or sales.
  • Contribute to Product Strategy: Relay client feedback to internal teams, contributing to ongoing product enhancements and new product development strategies.
  • Marketing Partnership: Partner with marketing to develop tailored campaigns and innovative ways to position products based on client insights.
  • Networking and Industry Presence: Attend industry conferences and networking events as needed to increase market visibility and client engagement.
