About The Position

We are currently looking for an Account Executive to join our team! This is an associate level position.

Requirements

  • Located in commutable distance to New York City
  • Ability to travel for work when needed
  • BA or BS in related field
  • Minimum two-year related experience in travel, F&B, hospitality, and/or luxury lifestyle PR
  • Possess knowledge working with regional South Florida and national media
  • Possess knowledge working with national F&B and travel media
  • Proactive and highly motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Effective organizational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Able to collaborate and work within a team environment
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple project deadlines across various clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in AP style
  • Proficiency using Muck Rack, Cision, Google Analytics, MS applications, news wire services and server applications such as SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of social media networks (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Fluent Spanish speaker preferred
  • Agency experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Regularly draft pitches, press releases, and media kit collateral
  • Secure consistent and quality media placements through proactive and reactive pitching
  • Support planning for social media strategies and influencer campaigns
  • Secure and share quality media leads with greater agency
  • Develop and maintain strong media relationships with journalists and social media influencers, especially in the travel, wellness, food, wine, and spirits, and lifestyle verticals
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for media and clients
  • Maintain client relations through meetings, conference calls, events and general contact
  • Manage daily administrative activities on accounts including but not limited to media database maintenance and list building, reporting, media monitoring, clip emails, media stay briefs, etc.
  • Align clients with like-minded brands for media and revenue-driving collaborations
  • Display clear understanding of client expectations and goals
  • Prepare and present meeting agendas, notes and reports
  • Assist with developing first drafts of strategic, creative and integrated PR initiatives
  • Consume local and national news on a daily basis and stay up to speed on current news and trends, especially with the wine/spirits, travel and wellness industries
  • Assist with organizing and attending media events when needed
  • Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients (audits)
