About The Position

Genetec is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive business growth across Italy . The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key customers, partners, and system integrators while promoting Genetec’s unified security platform and portfolio of solutions. This role requires a strategic sales professional who can identify opportunities, build long-term customer relationships, and deliver value-driven security and intelligence solutions in sectors such as transportation, enterprise, and critical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Proven success in enterprise or complex B2B solution sales.
  • Experience selling physical security solutions.
  • Strong track record of direct end-user engagement and consultative selling.
  • Experience working within a channel-driven or partner-based sales model.
  • Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales environments and long buying cycles.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with video management systems (VMS), access control, or unified security platforms.
  • Familiarity with enterprise verticals such as transportation, smart cities, critical infrastructure, government, healthcare, or retail.
  • Understanding of IP networking, cybersecurity principles, or enterprise IT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline across Italy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with end users, consultants, and system integrators.
  • Promote Genetec solutions , including video management, access control, ALPR, and unified security platforms.
  • Lead the full sales cycle , from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Work closely with channel partners to expand market presence and drive joint opportunities.
  • Collaborate internally with pre-sales engineers, marketing, and partner teams to develop winning sales strategies.
  • Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and value propositions to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline management in CRM tools.
  • Represent Genetec at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings across Italy.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
