This role is focused on account ownership, revenue growth, and veterinarian relief placement expansion. The Account Manager will proactively engage current clinic partners, identify additional staffing needs, and upsell relief veterinary services. Fast-paced, high-volume account management role requiring exceptional verbal communication, confidence, and the ability to close decisively. Success in this role is measured by account growth, repeat business, and revenue performance.

Requirements

  • Proven account management and revenue growth mindset.
  • Extremely articulate, persuasive, and confident communication skills on the phone.
  • Strong ability to sell, negotiate, overcome objections, and close.
  • Highly profit-motivated, competitive, and performance-driven.
  • Skilled at uncovering client needs and positioning solutions effectively.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-volume, high-expectation sales environment.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business communication tools.
  • Resilient, proactive, and accountable for results.
  • Bachelor degree required.
  • 3+ years of documented success in account management, sales, or client growth roles.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Ability to sit at a computer and work on the phone for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 10–15 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to navigate onsite company facilities when required.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in veterinary, medical, or healthcare staffing sales is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing veterinary clinic accounts.
  • Develop deep relationships with clinic decision-makers and become their primary point of contact.
  • Proactively identify new and recurring doctor placement needs within assigned accounts.
  • Sell and close additional staffing engagements through high-volume phone communication.
  • Understand clinic workflows, scheduling gaps, billing structures, travel preferences, and urgency of needs.
  • Consistently upsell and expand accounts by uncovering unmet or future staffing demands.
  • Collaborate closely with the staffing teams to ensure successful veterinarian placements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, opportunities, and placements in the CRM (CTM).
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue, placement, and account growth targets.
  • Provide regular pipeline, forecast, and performance updates to leadership.
  • Maintain urgency, persistence, and follow-up discipline to close business quickly.
  • Perform additional account management or sales-related duties as needed and other duties as assigned
