Account Executive, Travel + Lifestyle
About The Position
Evins Communications — a brain-trust of passionate strategists, storytellers and tastemakers — seeks a resourceful and driven PR Account Executive to join our Travel + Lifestyle practice. This is a hybrid, NYC-based role. As an Account Executive, you’ll be a key player in developing and executing strategic communications programs for leading travel and lifestyle brands. You’ll work closely with senior team members to manage client relationships, lead media outreach and contribute to creative ideation. This role is ideal for a PR professional with agency experience who is: Curious and culturally attuned, with a passion for storytelling Skilled in media relations and confident in client communications Organized and proactive, with strong writing and project management abilities Collaborative and eager to grow within a dynamic team environment If you’re excited by the opportunity to shape narratives, build media relationships and help iconic brands connect with audiences in meaningful ways, we’d love to meet you.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to secure media coverage across travel, lifestyle and consumer sectors
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with media monitoring and database tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Meltwater, Cision)
Nice To Haves
- Personal interest in travel, hospitality and cultural exploration is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day account activities across multiple travel and lifestyle clients
- Support the development and execution of strategic PR plans and campaigns
- Draft press releases, pitches, media alerts and other communications materials
- Conduct media outreach and build relationships with editors, freelancers and influencers
- Monitor industry trends and identify proactive media opportunities
- Participate in client meetings, calls and event activations
- Oversee media list development, coverage tracking and reporting
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing feedback and support
- Collaborate on social media content and integrated communications initiatives
- Contribute to new business proposals and presentations
