About the Team : As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue through the expansion of our existing customer base, as well as landing net new logos to Skillsoft Global Knowledge.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in lT sales in a new business/acquisition capacity
  • Successfully delivered against annual targets based on monthly objectives
  • Experience selling directly into lT departments is required
  • Ability to exceed sales targets, a keen understanding of the steps involved in a sales cycle and ability to leverage each stage to advance the sale
  • Ability to prospect and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth
  • Speaking the language of lT and developers
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, competitiveness, and demonstrate a positive winning attitude
  • Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close
  • Ability to understand client requirements and to clearly articulate the company's offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience within lT and/or training industry
  • College degree or equivalent in education/experience
  • Business development/hunter role sales experience preferred
  • Ability to follow established processes and provide constructive feedback on processes
  • Exhibits strong prospecting skills
  • Ability to cultivate prospects
  • Research skills
  • Easily handles objections and rejections
  • Process oriented
  • Strategy development and execution
  • Adaptability, being able to focus on what matters to the customer
  • Critical thinking

  • Experience in the learning or human capital, human capital technology space is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion
  • Sell our vast T&D solutions LOB directly to SMB prospects
  • Work as part of broader international SMB sales team
  • Own responsibility to meet and exceed revenue & sales goals
  • Win by representing a solution line with key competitive differentiators
  • Establish strategic plans and objectives to drive desired business growth
