About The Position

Tapcheck is seeking a driven and customer-focused SMB Account Executive to help expand our presence among growing businesses with hourly workforces. This role focuses on selling Tapcheck’s on-demand pay solution to small organizations, balancing velocity with thoughtful, needs-based selling. SMB AEs at Tapcheck play a critical role in pipeline generation, deal execution, and building strong customer relationships that set the foundation for long-term growth. This is a hybrid position based at our Plano, Texas headquarters, with in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday each week.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling SaaS or technology solutions
  • Experience selling to SMB customers
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales engagement platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At this time, Tapcheck does not provide sponsorship for employment-based visas (e.g., H-b, L-1, TN, etc.). Therefore, candidates must already possess the right to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent opportunities with moderate deal complexity and short-to-mid sales cycles
  • Conduct outbound outreach to identify and engage potential customers
  • Run discovery calls and product demos that clearly communicate Tapcheck’s value proposition and customer impact
  • Build trusted relationships with operational and HR leaders at small companies
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and forecast accurately using CRM tools
  • Close deals efficiently while ensuring strong customer fit and satisfaction
  • Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to support onboarding and retention
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
