About The Position

As an Enterprise Account Executive for the Public Sector, you will use your extensive experience, domain expertise and consultative selling skills to initiate and support sales of Dayforce’s HCM Solutions to public sector agencies in the United States. You will work closely with your customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique organizational challenges and goals. You will consult with customers on the Dayforce Platform to evangelize solutions that will help them reach their business goals. You will be passionate, enthusiastic and a successful seller who has experience working with internal teams and system integrator partners for hunting and closing large public sector contracts. You will be a key player in Dayforce’s field sales team to drive net new business sales and manage existing accounts in Public Sector vertical You will drive complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing and sales support. You will implement value-selling processes alongside a wealth of knowledge of Dayforce’s products and portfolio You will use your US public sector experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors You will employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Dayforce as the cloud partner of choice to ensure customer success.

Requirements

  • Experience and success selling into Public Sector from a direct, field sales position
  • Experience selling disruptive solutions in cloud / SaaS technology or business applications (preferably HCM / ERP)
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position Dayforce solutions to public sector executives
  • Ability to understand and effectively explain the benefits of Dayforce and our SaaS solution
  • Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances
  • Proven success with challenger selling and strategy, creating a need for innovation within education and government agency accounts
  • Experience as a leader in a team selling environment winning enterprise SaaS deals
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Public Sector selling experience at least 6+ years
