The Account Executive is a detail-oriented and relationship-driven role in support of the placement and service of commercial insurance accounts. In this role, you’ll evaluate risk exposures, recommend appropriate coverage, and partner closely with Producers, clients, brokers, and carrier underwriters. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance concepts and lines of business.
  • Ability to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client-service skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with standard computer systems; experience with Applied Systems or similar AMS preferred.
  • A sense of urgency, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial accounts, including high-volume renewals and remarketing efforts.
  • Evaluate client exposures, analyze loss data, and prepare submissions for underwriters.
  • Partner with Producers and brokers to develop and place new business opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to gather information, secure quotes, and address service needs.
  • Review applications and policies for accuracy and ensure coverage renews on time without gaps.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships through daily interaction, client meetings, and ongoing consultation.
  • Process endorsements and communicate carrier recommendations to policyholders.
  • Represent the company at meetings and events to strengthen client and carrier relationships.
