The Strategic Accounts team aims to help Stripe’s most critical customers grow their business using modern infrastructure to power inventive business models, lower costs, and enable superior experiences for their customers. As a Strategic Account Executive you will work with Stripe's largest and most critical customers to help grow their business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology sales experience, specifically with a minimum of 3 years managing 1-2 strategic/global accounts
  • Experience driving complex strategy and relationships at multiple levels
  • Ability to build relationships with strategic client and industry thought leaders
  • Demonstrated passion for Stripe’s mission
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and build great relationships with highly technical customers. Also needs to be skilled at driving CxO level strategy and relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company
  • Payments or payments adjacent experience

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for revenue growth for 1-2 of Stripe’s most strategic customers
  • Develop both the long-term vision and account strategy for the team and manage day-to-day relationships, both internal and external
  • Be accountable for increasing revenue and stickiness of your customers
  • Effectively work cross-functionally across the organization to shape Stripe's solutions to meet customer needs
