About The Position

Account Executive, Outbound Sales (Mid-Market & Enterprise) Goldbelly has built the most beloved food marketplace in the country, connecting consumers with iconic dishes from the best chefs, restaurants, and food makers nationwide. We are entering our next phase of growth as we continue expanding how food brands sell, ship, and scale nationwide. We are building an outbound sales team to support this effort. The Role As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and closing high-potential food brands across the country. This is a true outbound role. You are expected to build your own pipeline, create opportunities, and drive deals from first conversation through activation. You will own the full lifecycle: Prospect and engage mid-market and enterprise food brands Lead discovery across operations, fulfillment, and growth strategy Position Goldbelly as a core revenue channel for merchants Drive deals to close with urgency and precision Bring partners through activation and go-live This role is focused on meaningful partnerships that drive real GMV. Requirements

  • 5+ years of closing experience in outbound sales
  • Experience selling technology, SaaS, or platform-based solutions
  • Familiarity with the food and beverage industry, either through direct experience or by selling into it
  • Proven track record of consistent performance and ownership of results
  • Highly self-motivated and able to operate independently in a remote or distributed environment
  • Curious, coachable, and comfortable working in an evolving organization
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence across stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a high-quality outbound pipeline through consistent sourcing and engagement
  • Own the full sales process from initial outreach through activation and go-live
  • Prioritize and manage a focused set of active opportunities, advancing deals with clear next steps
  • Develop a deep understanding of each merchant’s business, operations, and growth potential
  • Sell consultatively across a multi-product offering, aligning solutions to merchant needs
  • Drive deals forward with urgency, discipline, and strong follow-through
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless onboarding and activation experience
  • Maintain a high standard of execution in a performance-driven environment
