The primary responsibility of this role is to retain and expand a designated portfolio of clients identified by local management, typically supporting a Producer with a book of business generating $1.5MM or more in annual revenue for Gallagher. This position drives overall client strategy to meet and exceed expectations and growth objectives, leveraging deep knowledge of client needs to manage renewals and grow existing accounts. Key responsibilities include coordinating internal resources—such as service teams, loss control, and local leadership—to achieve strategic goals, conducting stewardship reviews, and developing and executing plans that align with client objectives while delivering profitable growth for the company. The role also involves collaborating closely with the service team to ensure timely resolution and satisfactory outcomes for client issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in affordable housing and tax credit programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 10 years related experience required
  • Appropriate licensing for Property & Casualty Insurance sales
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience using Salesforce.com
  • Professional designation such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Keen problem solving skills, focusing solutions on the root cause

Responsibilities
