About The Position

The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business in conjunction with servicing and maintaining existing accounts. Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field; equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance sales.
  • Must have or be willing and able to obtain a Life & Health insurance license in their state of residence.
  • Excellent listening and communications skills to effectively identify client’s needs, provide guidance, and close sales.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks to completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work and collaborate with individuals or group at all organizational levels; ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of work experience specializing in customer service, account management, or employee benefits is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from securing a request from a health insurance broker, to closing the deal.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of long-lasting health insurance broker partnerships.
  • Manage the annual renewal process.
  • Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities.
  • Stay educated and understand products, market trends, and competitors within assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the quoting process for assigned market(s).
  • Participate in meetings as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to US healthcare and Sales.
  • Identify and report issues and opportunities for improvement related to processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to Sales processes, including reports, metrics, and improvement plans.
  • Supporting and sustaining a positive work environment that fosters team performance through own work and behavior.
  • Performing special tasks and assignments as needed.
