About The Position

We're looking for an Account Executive I who is a well-rounded salesperson with a strong foundation in consultative selling, presentations, and upselling, and who is excited to help small and mid-sized businesses grow through digital and AI-powered solutions. In this role, you'll work directly with SMB clients, owning the sales conversation from discovery through onboarding and expansion, while playing a key part in shaping the future of AI for local economies.

Requirements

  • You are a well-rounded salesperson with 3 to 4 years of sales experience, ideally in a SaaS, technology, or digital marketing environment, and a proven ability to sell to small and mid-sized businesses (not enterprise-level accounts).
  • You bring strong presentation skills and are comfortable leading product demonstrations, onboarding-style conversations, and value-based upsell discussions for solutions such as websites and AI chat tools.
  • You have experience navigating pricing and objections, managing a sales pipeline, and consistently working toward performance targets in a fast-paced, in-office sales environment.
  • You're confident using CRM systems, curious and comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve your workflow, and motivated to continuously sharpen your sales craft.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is considered an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 8 to 10 scheduled sales calls per day focused on small to mid-sized businesses, prioritizing higher-value and more complex opportunities
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to uncover SMB pain points and connect them to tailored, multi-solution proposals across listings, reputation, websites, digital advertising, and AI-powered tools such as chat solutions
  • Lead product walkthroughs and onboarding-style presentations, clearly communicating value and identifying opportunities to upsell additional solutions
  • Confidently navigate pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and common objections in an SMB sales environment
  • Own the sales-to-service handoff by ensuring onboarding is booked within 24 to 48 hours and that client context is clearly documented
  • Partner with onboarding and customer success teams to support early-stage client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value realization
  • Maintain strong product and market fluency across local SEO, digital advertising, reputation management, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Leverage AI-driven tools to support call preparation, research, follow-ups, objection handling, and pipeline management
  • Share feedback, insights, and best practices to help continuously improve sales execution and AI adoption across the team
