We are seeking a talented and motivated Account Executive who is excited to have an opportunity to expand their sales career and acumen. As an integral part of our sales team, you will engage with our amazing customers (coaches), build lasting relationships, and evidence the value Scorability adds to the recruiting process. This is a great role for you if you’re results-oriented, an excellent communicator, likeable, and a strong problem-solver who gets excited about helping college coaches recruit players with Scorability’s athlete database and customized software experience. This position is best suited for an early career sales professional who knows sales is the path for them. The right team member will want to make an impact while continuing to learn and grow through the value of direct sales mentorship from our leadership team and Sr. Account Executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated success in a consultative selling environment as a BDR/MDR/SDR in a lead generation and/or as an AE in a closing role where you solved problems with a valuable solution.
  • Net new opportunity generation experience and focus where you’ve had to strategically cold call and cold email into new business accounts and build relationships from the ground up.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to unique customer needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive and self-driven approach to achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving company that will experience major internal change and growth every year.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product or in the technology or data industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in the Scorability software platform so you can show coaches the value of our service.
  • Prospect, cold call, and cold email to college coaches and other prospects in a professional, customized manner.
  • Conduct conversational product demos for prospective customers, serving as a trusted, knowledgeable resource.
  • Support the build of lead lists, contact databases, and a variety of other sales tasks as needed.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Revenue Operations to execute sales strategy and constantly refine the sales process from initial outreach to demo to pricing to close.
  • Effectively transition closed won accounts to the assigned Customer Success Manager.
  • Embrace continuing education and ongoing feedback to constantly improve your craft.
  • Thoroughly and efficiently use our technology stack (i.e. HubSpot) to help make your job easier and provide the insights needed to improve the health of the business
