About The Position

Be at the forefront of driving sales and expanding our customer base! If you excel in selling across multiple channels and have a proven track record, this role is for you. What You Will Do As an SMB Sales Account Executive for Trimble, you will be a key player in driving sales targets and expanding our customer base in your territory. Your focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with clients, identifying their needs and pursuing potential revenue opportunities. You will explore and develop new market opportunities, network with related businesses, and work closely with our pre-sales team to execute plans to land new customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience within a software environment or comparable experience with consistent delivery of revenue based targets
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, business or related field
  • Experience supporting a sales strategy, including the techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and the market environment
  • Business development experience including prospecting, networking, partnering, and achieving overall client satisfaction
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization with diverse background, including executive and C-level
  • Ability to travel, A valid driver’s license and vehicle rental access is required

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceed sales quota in a territory by developing, increasing and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of existing accounts
  • Explore and develop cross sale/upsell opportunities with territory and SMB accounts in the Western US
  • Network with related businesses and foster B2B relationships
  • Work closely with the technical pre-sales team to agree and execute plans to land new customers in the territory
  • Remain current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
  • Represent Trimble at industry events and build value-added relationships with customers, industry associations, and technology partners
  • Travel in this role will be limited but will be required as needed for events or customer visits. Estimated to be under 15%.
