About The Position

Account Executive – Contract Surety Supporting Houston Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of contract surety accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique surety bond needs and providing tailored solutions. Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk, determine bond eligibility, and negotiate terms and conditions. Prepare and present bonds for clients along with related invoicing, consents, and supporting miscellaneous bonds. Track bid results and client’s backlogs. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions related to contract surety bonds. Collaborate with internal teams, including Producers and Senior Account Consultants, to provide comprehensive service to clients. Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the surety industry, with a focus on contract surety bonds.
  • Strong knowledge of contract surety underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and bond pricing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
