About The Position

The Business Solutions Account Executive is an individual contributor with responsibility for meeting or exceeding monthly business solutions sales quota for Truvista Fiber in the assigned Georgia territory. He/she is accountable for developing trusted, long-term business relationships with decision makers at small to medium-sized businesses which are on and near the Truvista network. Sales results are achieved as a result of implementing effective account penetration strategies, successful business relationship development and management, and strategic selling. The Business Solutions Account Executive positions Truvista as a premium fiber internet services provider and effectively communicates Truvista ’s value propositions and capabilities to develop and close new sales.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university
  • Demonstrated success in technology sales and/or business development experience
  • Thorough understanding of executive relationship development and management and the strategic sales process
  • Strong business and financial acumen with an understanding of the economic drivers in small to medium-sized businesses
  • Working knowledge of internet, TV and managed/hosted voice service solutions
  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing customer contracts
  • Must have reliable transportation, a good driving record, a valid drivers license, and be willing to travel when required based on needs of the business

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals for new sales
  • Accurately forecast monthly sales by close month
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Truvista value propositions and capabilities, and articulate them effectively to existing and prospective Truvista customers
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Truvista’s service offerings of high-speed internet, hosted voice, business class cable TV, physical/property security and video conferencing
  • Perform lead generation activities on a consistent basis, including professional networking and telephone, email, and in-person prospecting
  • Develop customer references to assist in closing sales and actively seek out referrals from the Truvista customer base
  • Develop and maintain trusted, long-term business relationships with decision makers at small to medium-sized businesses located in Truvista service areas
  • Promote a positive reputation and brand image for Truvista in our markets
  • Respond to customer initiated inquiries for products and services in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain a sufficient pipeline of qualified sales prospects to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quota
  • Update and maintain accurate customer contact information in Truvista’s sales system
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to determine the best solution for the customer based on their business needs
  • Engage necessary internal resources to design and propose optimal communications solutions for prospects
  • Remain engaged as the primary customer contact throughout the customer installation and service activation process
  • Research and maintain a strong working knowledge of competitors and their sales and marketing strategies in your markets
  • Complete additional duties and projects as assigned by management
  • Deliver consistent attendance and on-time arrival in the workplace
  • Travel throughout the service area – requiring daily operation of a motor vehicle.
