About The Position

The Account Executive is a key driver of client engagement and business growth. This role is responsible for cultivating strong, long-term relationships with existing clients by delivering exceptional service and strategic solutions that meet their evolving needs. In addition to maintaining and enhancing current accounts, the Account Executive actively identifies and pursues new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base and market presence. Through a combination of consultative selling, cross-functional collaboration, and market insight, the Account Executive ensures client satisfaction while contributing to the organization’s revenue and growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • At least 5 years of proven success in sales within the building products or related industry.
  • Consistent history of meeting or surpassing sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication capabilities for effective relationship building and influence across organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic environments with an emphasis on results-driven performance.
  • Readiness to travel as necessary for client meetings and industry events.

  • Proven experience in B2B sales with a focus on building and maintaining strong client partnerships.
  • Extensive knowledge of the building products market, including key industry trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Experience utilizing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in leveraging digital tools and platforms to enhance customer engagement and sales processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and large accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships by understanding their goals and delivering tailored solutions.

  • Report progress and forecasts regularly to internal teams and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Negotiate and close profitable contracts that support long-term growth.

  • Leverage Digital platforms and other SRS tools available to support customers
