The discipline of Account Management exists to create an environment for great work to thrive. Account Management sets the tone, pace and ways of working. The Account Department have to weigh and balance client needs with agency ambitions to determine the vision, and then make sure everyone is clear on that vision and how to get there. Despite the title, Account Management doesn’t manage accounts, they ultimately drive businesses. The Account Director is the day-to-day lead of the team, the work and has oversight of the process at scale. Beyond process and creative output, they are strategic partners to the day-to-day and senior clients. They work closely with the Group Account Director and Executive Group Director to set the tone and pace of a business, and help to ensure that both vision and tone are understood and reflected by all on the team.
