The National Channel Manager assumes Leadership of the Partner’s experience with the standard Lumen Enterprise Acquire and Customer Success policies, processes, and tools as well as those created specifically for the Partner Channel. This role is the primary point of contact to strategic partners, acting as a trusted advisor and valued business consultant. The Sr. NCM develops the executive strategy and governs the overall relationship between the strategic partner and Lumen, acts as an advocate of Lumen within the strategic partner ecosystem. Establish deep relationships with key strategic partner stakeholders, and in collaboration with the local channel team(s) provides and manages to jointly developed business objectives and action plans, engages in strategic sales opportunities, and ultimately drives profitable revenue growth for both Lumen and our partner(s).

Requirements

  • 7 - 10+ years of related sales experience, including at least 5 years in partner sales
  • Proven success of building strong relationships and partnerships
  • Advanced understanding of company’s technology products and network capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of company financial measurements, technology industry, and indirect sales model
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Partner Relationship Management
  • Provide assigned Strategic Partner(s) with support team and ancillary guidance of Lumen resources
  • Build relationships with top strategic sellers.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with PS on reaching out to top strategic sellers on a consistent basis
  • Responsible for creating, developing, and managing to joint business plan with assigned Strategic Partner(s)
  • Perform quarterly business review (QBR) with assigned Strategic Partner(s)
  • Marketing/Events; Local field support team is expected to be primary support for events and should be included in conversations re events in their region(s)
  • Develop national/regional market coverage plans and initiatives
  • Enables Partner understanding of solutions, value equations and performance-based programs
  • Solves channel unique PPA abnormalities.
  • Manage Partner roll process.
  • Provides oversight to CIE partnership with Direct.
  • Enable the partner experience creating awareness of Channel methods, programs, and guidelines.
  • Execute PPA commitments; leading QBRs, initiative/ROI tracking, while driving Channel development initiatives.
  • Ensure resolution of all anomalies concerning partner compensation and customer A/R.
  • Measure and analyze partner performance.
  • Adjustment of strategies for improvement, as needed.
  • Sales and revenue growth by engaging in top strategic opportunities with Lumen and Strategic Partner(s) and coordinating on large strategic renewal opportunities.
  • Forecasting.
  • Work with ecosystem on internal reports & systems (SFA, Sales Reports, ROVR), and Strategic Partner(s) to provide general funnel guidance on expected sales
  • Manage monthly base revenue minimum of $4M+
