We’re looking for an experienced Account Director who lives and breathes social media - someone who spots trends before they break, builds bold social campaigns and leads integrated work that actually moves the needle. You should be fluent in developing and executing strategic social media and content plans across all digital platforms - always through a social-first lens anchored in earned storytelling and seamlessly connected to PR and influencer strategies. You know how to spark cultural moments that extend reach, drive engagement and fuel virality. You bring deep expertise across organic and paid social, search and emerging digital channels with a proven ability to optimize targeting, content and performance. You are also deeply experienced in community management and in shaping content strategy - guiding creative approaches and content plans that build, engage and grow loyal audiences. You’re as comfortable conducting channel audits and analyzing audience data as you are turning insights into bold, actionable creative. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, mentor mid-level talent and manage budgets, timelines and client relationships with confidence and clarity. You thrive working autonomously and have successfully served as the account lead on large-scale programs - overseeing big budgets and multiple workstreams without missing a beat. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of social media experience working with both emerging and established brands - ideally in an agency setting and within an IAT. You must be based in New York or Chicago with proven expertise in the beauty category - from product launches to digital strategy and everything in between.
