About The Position

The Account Development Manager is a field sales executive responsible for driving revenue and margin growth in assigned accounts. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, developing strategic relationships, and aligning business goals to create and manage a comprehensive business plan that fosters shared success among customers, vendor partners, and the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop strong, strategic relationships with customers to identify their business goals and deliver appropriate sales solutions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in critical customer planning and engagement.
  • Conduct critical customer analysis to leverage marketing programs for growth in customer solutions capability.
  • Engage customers in joint planning that integrates the company's services and programs, securing commitment for comprehensive investment strategies.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to track progress toward revenue and growth goals.
  • Maintain and monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customer needs to maximize profitable growth.
  • Prioritize customers and opportunities with the greatest potential for success.
  • Manage profitability by minimizing profit leaks and maximizing gross profit.
