About The Position

YipitData is looking for an Account Development Manager to support our growing Hedge Fund client base. This individual will be an early joiner to a new and fast-growing segment of our business with a focus on driving value and managing commercial relationships. The role involves becoming an expert in our clients and products while balancing competing priorities across a large set of clients. This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can be based in NYC, one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. However, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding depending on the remote work location. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary, retention bonus, and equity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships within the book of business.
  • Passionate about making clients successful and caring deeply about their investment questions and process.
  • Ability to proactively identify value-adding opportunities for the client base.
  • Experience managing a high-touch, high-volume client base.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Genuine interest in investment research and the markets.

Responsibilities

  • Own and cultivate relationships with clients by leveraging product expertise to drive value and grow user engagement.
  • Become a trusted resource for clients by acting as a thought partner and providing top-notch service.
  • Advocate for client needs cross-departmentally.
  • Create and execute on account growth and engagement strategies.
  • Develop rapport with key decision makers.
  • Manage renewals from beginning to end.
  • Identify and execute on upsell opportunities to augment contract value.
  • Contribute to building best-in-class practices within the Client Strategy team.
