About The Position

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Account Coordinator to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. The successful candidate will perform various order management functions including day-to-day customer support, order entry, purchase order management, and expediting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High computer application literacy including and ability to learn internal business systems
  • Understand order processing systems
  • Quickly embrace, learn, and apply new technology and/or procedures
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication skills and proven ability to maintain high customer service
  • Ability to read/understand product instruction manuals
  • Ability to work extended hours on a computer

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Customer facing/day to day phone support
  • Develop strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of appropriate business practices and procedures
  • Participate in customer meetings as required
  • Provide day-to-day phone support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Manage aspects of customer orders including order entry, purchasing, invoicing
  • Reconcile customer purchase orders across various business areas, ensuring accuracy in detail such as payment terms, shipping information, and payment details
  • Procure necessary parts through purchase order entry, vendor correspondence, pricing, and overseeing timely delivery
  • Navigate efficiently between multiple software programs
  • Expediting of parts and/or products
  • Evaluate quotes and customer requirements to compile and present an effective Job Packet
  • Oversee inventory and manage all shipping and receiving operations
  • Perform other duties as required
