About The Position

The Local Accounts Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the sales team by coordinating advertising orders, maintaining client accounts, and ensuring accurate execution of advertising campaigns. This role works closely with internal departments including traffic, marketing, accounting, and research to ensure client campaigns are executed efficiently and in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with web-based programs and media systems such as WideOrbit, OSI, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of data entry accuracy.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with advertising agency counterparts and internal departments, including traffic, marketing, accounting, and research.
  • Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execute client orders ensuring compliance with client and station requirements.
  • Process program and commercial changes and communicate change notices to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple departments to coordinate sales packages and materials.
  • Assist Sales Managers and Account Executives with preparing presentations and sales materials.
  • Assist Account Executives in gathering promotional assets and approvals within tight deadlines.
  • Work closely with the traffic department to schedule promotional assets.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies with agencies and accounting as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
