About The Position

The Account Coordinator is a specialized role that supports the operations and growth of existing accounts. By leveraging Spot’s services and freight solutions, you will nurture relationships and build lasting partnerships. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic. Account Coordinators are responsible for executing internal operations and communicating with customers with empathy and promptness, all while ensuring the best solutions for both the customer and Spot.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, supply chain, procurement, or a logistics coordinator role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and BI Tools/Reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, BluJay).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, array formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and consistently meet performance metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills characterized by persuasiveness, assertiveness, and confidence.
  • An entrepreneurial and competitive spirit with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Exceptional organization and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Adaptability, multi-tasking ability, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Confident decision-making skills to solve problems in real-time.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day operations to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing inquiries, and resolving or escalating issues as needed.
  • Communicate daily with carriers, customers, and Spot employees to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
  • Track daily orders for enterprise customers across multiple modes, including Parcel, LTL, FTL, and Containers.
  • Ensure consistent load management by coordinating with internal Spot teams—including Carrier Services and Logistics—as dictated by customer needs.
