About The Position

The position involves preparing and maintaining complete payroll and related records for a County agency or performing complete accounting clerical work involving budgeting, procurement, collection, disbursement, and related functions. The role requires acting as a liaison between agency personnel and other agencies regarding payroll administration, responding to inquiries, and resolving problems. The position also includes preparing journal entries, posting charges and other financial data to ledgers, maintaining suspense logs, reviewing vouchers, and processing direct payment invoices. Additionally, the role involves auditing totals for accounts, making routine computations, and maintaining various account-related files.
