About The Position

The Advocacy & Resource Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to join our Business Office team as an Account Clerk. This full-time position plays an important role in supporting day-to-day administrative and clerical functions, with a focus on data entry, recordkeeping, reporting support, and front desk coverage as needed. Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Weekends and evenings on occasion.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
  • One (1) year of full-time office experience required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable working with standard office technology and systems (email, scanning, data entry)

Responsibilities

  • Answering and routing incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Scanning, filing, and maintaining organized electronic and paper records
  • Completing accurate data entry and document processing
  • Assisting with audits, reports, and general business office support
  • Supporting building front desk coverage as needed
  • Performing general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned
