Perform component maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and established shop procedures in the interest of flight safety. You will be responsible to become familiar with and understand the GMM You are responsible for your assigned work area in the shop to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards Keep tools and support equipment in a clean, safe and operational condition at all times You will be required to wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while using tools or operating machinery Available to work any shift and overtime if necessary

Requirements

  • Possess a valid state issued driver's license
  • Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Read, write and understand English
  • Have mechanical experience and or aptitude
  • Work well with others
  • Willing to work any shift assigned (Four 10 Hour Shifts) Days of the week to be determined
  • Willing to work weekend shift when needed
  • High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent required
  • Be able to lifts 75 lbs. from the floor to chest height with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position

Responsibilities

  • Component maintenance and repair
  • Perform component maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and established shop procedures in the interest of flight safety
