You will perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and under the direction and supervision of the maintenance department in the interest of flight safety. You will be responsible for becoming familiar with and understanding the GMM You are responsible for your assigned work area in the shop to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards Keep tools and support equipment in a clean, safe and operational condition at all times You will be required to wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while using tools or operating machinery Available to work any shift and overtime if necessary

Requirements

  • Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
  • Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Read, write and understand English
  • Have mechanical experience and or aptitude
  • Work well with others
  • Willing to work any shift assigned (Four 10 Hour Shifts) - days of the week to be determined
  • Willing to work weekend shift when needed
  • High School Diploma, GED, or education equivalent required
  • Lift 75 lbs. from the floor to chest height with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Responsibilities

  • Auditing and maintaining aircraft cabin interior appearance
  • Perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and under the direction and supervision of the maintenance department in the interest of flight safety.
  • Becoming familiar with and understanding the GMM
  • Ensure assigned work area in the shop is kept clean and free of hazards
