About The Position

The position above entails various tasks that are designed to manage and administer the port logistics operations in an efficient and cost-effective manner. As a result, this position covers several VL functions, such as labor allocation, audits, process analysis, planning recommendation, budget development and maintaining compliance with all Quality Management System directives. Manages implementation and review of OSHA regulations and statutory compliance thus ensuring a safe workplace. Oversees system integration of all port level programs within the VL process utilizing Audi and Volkswagen corporate standardization requirements and Factory level Quality Assurance guidelines.

Requirements

5 Years of Leadership & Operations Experience
High School Diploma
Must display strong leadership skills to lead a group of technicians and subject matter experts
Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written
Computer savvy - skilled in the use of software
Integration - joining people, processes or systems
Influencing and negotiation skills
Problem solving
Resource management
Knowledge of Flamingo and LAMA systems
Technical Labor Management
Body shop Labor Management
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma
Audi/Volkswagen brand knowledge
ASE Certification
Automotive Analytical and Diagnostics Background
Knowledge of PQOS
Labor management
Asset management
Fluent English
Proficiency in ETKA and Parts on Command
Must be eligible for or have TWIC
Flexibility during vessel/train arrivals, during actions, stop orders and/or market introductions, which could require overtime, weekend and holidays work
Travel to other ports, as per need
