The Accessories Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling top branded quality automotive aftermarket and OEM certified products to customers purchasing new or used vehicles, as well as walk-in customers and wholesale accounts. You should enjoy the thrill of selling in a fast-paced environment and have a positive outgoing personality with the ability to explain features and benefits of the accessories and services we offer.

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License with good driving record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others through clear and concise data driven facts that support the vision and mission of Don Hewlett Chevrolet Buick & Hewlett Volkswagen
  • Superior customer service and work ethic, specifically the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and objectives
  • Lead and facilitate the sale and installation of aftermarket/OEM products sold including but not limited to the following: ensuring that customers' expectations are met, adequately answering all questions in a timely manner, assisting with scheduling and customer transportation upon vehicle drop-off, and more. (For example: goose necks, spray-in bedliner, grille guards, van shelving, hitches, tint, etc.)
  • Offer additional ancillary products/services to the original purchase or preferred product(s) to offer even more benefit of the accessories department
  • Stay informed of the newest automobile products and accessories
  • Coordinate and assist other salespersons in the store
  • Complete walk around on each vehicle prior to install/delivery of vehicle, as well as ensuring that each customer is satisfied with the accessories purchased and that the installation is nothing less than high quality
  • Quality check on each item requested by the customer is complete
  • Processing GM Vouchers, Rewards points, and warranty paperwork
  • Provide follow-up services to customers to inspire repeat and referral business
