About The Position
Responsible for performing venipuncture, patient registrations into hospital registration system, accessioning laboratory physicians orders into the laboratory information system, assuring proper handling of patient specimens, assuring accuracy of patient identification demographic and verifying insurance information. Maintain knowledge of regulations applicable to the lab and hospital to maintain constant compliance. Join this fast-paced clinic today with a variety of specialties including procedures. This team of nurses, office staff, and providers work to provide care to the heart of Camp Hill seeing up to 300 patients daily. They meet the needs of their patients with all their specialties mainly focused on Surgical, Medicine, and OBGYN. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Six (6) months experience in Phlebotomy required
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant experience or clerical experience in a medical setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
