We're lookingfor a Software Engineer who is passionate about creating accessible experiences that make adifference in the lives of all users, regardless of ability. In this role, you'll work on speech synthesis and the speech-driven features it powers, including Speak Screen and VoiceOver. Ifyou're eager to learn, innovate, and make meaningful contributions, you'll thrive on our team.
Requirements
- Ability to learn quickly and grapple with complex, critical code
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented attitude
- Aptitude for independently learning new technologies
- Passion for quality and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Apple Accessibility APIs and/or Accessibility technologies
- Familiarity with audio-related software development
- Experience in developing safe and efficient multithreaded software systems
- Excitement to build software that makes a tangible difference in people's lives
