As an Access Specialist III, therapists or nurses will work to fulfill the role of their position within the scope of their licensure. Responsible for meeting with prospective persons to evaluate clinical situations, with emphasis on identifying clinical risk factors and performing a medical screening evaluation. Assists law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and emergency detentions. Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate. Assigns persons in need of treatment to the appropriate outpatient program and coordinates inpatient admissions through the medical staff. The “Access Specialist III” is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team by working collaboratively with the team to provide individuals with access to services. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities. We are looking to fill full time positions, working three 12 hours shifts: 7a- 7p, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1p- 1a, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7p- 7a, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

Requirements

  • Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License, or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Professional Counselor (LPC) license, or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • 1 – 2 years related experience
  • BLS/First Aid Certification
  • Aggression Management and Trauma Informed, de-escalation training
  • Exceptional ability to ensure high-quality patient care and expedite concerns
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English; both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities
