The University of Lynchburg, a private, regional university in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track position in the Library for the academic year 2026-27. Salary and rank correspond to experience and educational credentials. Specific Job Duties: Actively manage the operations, facility, and services for the Access Services Department of the library. Serve as liaison to one or more academic schools or departments in the provision of collection development, instruction, and research services. Recommend policies, procedures, services, and enhancements to Access Services. Supervise, train, and evaluate regular and student staff. Work collaboratively and effectively as part of the library team and the University community, keeping current on best practices in policy, instruction, and technology for Access Services. Establish and maintain professional and ethical boundaries with students, co-workers, and others in all learning environments. Participate in University service and events. Perform other responsibilities that may be assigned by the University Librarian.
